John R. Dean Constructions PTY LTD is a construction company founded by John R Dean in 1976.

John started his own career with Kell & Rigby in 1959 as an apprentince then becoming a building supervisor before opening his own business. Since the conception of John R Dean Constructions, John was well-known and highly respected identity within the building industry. He held high expectations of all those who worked for him and over the years developed good, long standing relationships with various trades, sub-contractors, clients and employees alike. John was known as a ‘hard boss’ but the quality of his work was never compromised. He was very proud to produce 3 ‘Apprentices of the Year’ being a testament to the standard he set and quality of the training he provided within his employment.

John was well-known within the local area as a very involved member of the community, actively participating in numerous local fund raising events, supporting local charities and various sporting clubs. He was a life member of Noth Rocks Lions Club, an avid ‘Tigers’ supporter, he coached his Son’s North Rocks Soccer team and was also actively involved in Scouts, a member of the local Fishing Club and was on the committee for the Orange Blossom Festival. He was always generous with his time. In appreciation of his ongoing support the Lions Club mounted a commemorative plaque in his honour after his death in  2009.

John R. Dean Constructions Pty Ltd currently operates at the same high standard that John set, we are pleased that relationships formed with clients in the past have given us many referrals and repeat clientele who are pleased to receive the same high standard of service for their current projects to date. We are proud to have a such a good, long standing name in the industry and glad we remain a family operated business today.
